Main contractors
SCCS certification covers the UK market and NSAI certification covers the Irish market, both to BS EN 1090 Execution Class 2. Factory Production Control and welding certificates are available for the procurement file.
Steel Structures manufactures structural steelwork in accordance with BS EN 1090, to Execution Class 2 (EXC2). Certification is through the Steel Construction Certification Scheme (SCCS) for the UK market and the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) for the Irish market.
Manufacturing is controlled under our Factory Production Control system, established to meet the applicable requirements of BS EN 1090. We confirm the execution class and project requirements with main contractors, consulting engineers and local builders before fabrication begins.
Local builders
If building control or the engineer asks for the execution class, the Dunmurry office can send the current certificates.
